The Daze of Love and Glory

"The Daze of Love and Glory" is a breakup and get back together desperation war/romance. It tells about Navy Captain Samuel Jefferson Madden and Navy Lieutenant Betty Jean Pinot, a young couple who have different ideas about their future together, but are tied together by a nefarious contract. They get married and he is a handsome groom marked for death with benefits, and he has an earthshaking desire to be great. He needs the help of his wife's powerful Aunt Congresswoman "Mama" Pinot to accomplish his feat. The four golden bars on the shoulders of his Navy uniform sparkle in vain glory. Her striking beauty is overwhelming and her plans for her family is stained by deceit. Her motives soiled by greed, but her love for him is pure. He plans to be a naval hero and the greatest military mind of his time, but his deeds will be for the history books only. She has selected her husband for the no-return mission at the request of an evil military, big business, and a secret alliance, but now she regrets doing so. Now he wants to give his life in exchange for greatness, but she wants him alive and the family only he can give her.
