Oceans and Oceans

Will is an eighth grader who lives in a small duplex with his mom, Leigh, and uncle, Billy, in a small midwestern city. He dreams of one day becoming a rock drummer but still does not have a complete drum kit. His uncle, a once touring musician himself, encourages Will's dream with his stories of band life. Leigh has her son's dreams in mind too but is also concerned with finding and keeping a job at the beginning of the pandemic. The three of them try to keep their dreams alive for each other while struggling to get by in the frightening day to day. Oceans and Oceans is the story of a family that strives to not only get by but actually start pursuing their dreams.
