The case of the missing feather: Pepe the llama from down under

This book continues to narrate the adventures of Pepe the Australian llama, an intrepid and wise llama. He was brought to Australia from the Andes mountains long ago. Pepe has a deep sense of duty to the other animals who lived in this wild and rugged land.

He encounters Peter the Peacock who has realised that he has lost a feather this summer. He engages the services of Pepe who helps him understand that even though he has lost a feather, many more will grow in its place. Pepe also rallies his friends who teach Peter that he is valued not for his appearance but for who he is and how he helps others.
