In this book Kalliope, talks about her parents divorce, losing her mother, moving to Boulder City Nevada with her father. She loses him, and sticks around for a while. Visits Las Vegas with her best friend Kerra one night. Kerra takes off with a man she met and Kalliope met Nolan. Things were moving too fast for Kalliope, and she slowed it down for a while. Kalliope was sweet and loving but very dangerous. She knew how to handle her own and Nolan a billionaire who was very fond of Kalliope, found out real quick just how dangerous Kalliope could be when she was not overwhelmed and overthinking.
