Point of Entrance: Words as Reflection

We spend our lives trying to translate the reality in front of us. This book is my attempt to interpret nature and our purpose in it. Humanity spends lifetimes to understand this concept called life. This book is a collection of poems that embody spirituality of the larger meaning. From translating our reality, to the judgement and acceptance of it.

I have been writing poetry since my early 20s and inherited my love for writing from my mother. Although I have been writing for over 40 years, this collection of poems spans a short period of my life, from early 2020 to 2023 which marks the beginning of my diagnosis with ALS to present.

My hope is that my poems will ignite your love for nature, your love for your family and your love for your own existence. It is for you to see yourself in the words written and pull from your own memories the meaning they hold.
