Test of the Tribal Challenge

Every boy's dream is to become a man, and every girl's dream is to become a woman. Many cultures worldwide practise different rites of passage to mark that important event.

For Mato's Kikuyu tribe in Kenya, becoming a man means getting circumcised after a soak in freezing river water at dawn. For Owino's Luo tribe, it's the pulling out of six lower teeth.

But it is Dean Sandler's turn to become a man that provides the greatest adventure. The Rhinos have to accomplish Twelve Tasks of Manhood, each specially crafted to test and build courage and endurance.

It's all fun climbing Mount Kenya until Jona goes tumbling down the scree!
