When you're in the desert or wilderness season of your life, how do you wait?
Do you wait, whilst grumbling or do you wait wishing your life away?
Do you wait in envy of others or wait humbly seeking the will of God for your life?
These are real life scenarios the author sojourned through. Facing wilderness and dry arid seasons for prolonged periods of time. She had to overcome much hardship and get over herself and the sense of entitlement many Born Again believers of Jesus face far too frequently. Realising that the promise of God should not be what determines how she waits, instead drinking from the living waters of the well of life Himself, she found that she could indeed begin to shift her attitude and wait well, because she is drawing from the well that never runs dry!
Let her insight into this painfully sensitive topic guide you to look inwardly and seek the gift giver, whilst waiting on His promised gifts! There are many and it isn't wrong to wait for them, because He said so! Yet, it's in the how you wait that you find refreshing and an oasis in the desert!
