Receive Healing Today: Jesus Is Still The Same

Some Christians doubt that God still performs miracles, including healing. They may cite the belief that miraculous healing ceased after the time of the apostles. However, Hebrews 13:8 assures us that Jesus Christ remains unchanged throughout time. This means His power to heal is still active today just as it was in the past.

Many people endure sickness and suffering because they've been misled by incorrect teachings or misconceptions about God's will to heal. Nevertheless, the opportunity to receive healing remains open to all. This book aims to clarify biblical truth about divine healing and offers practical guidance on how to experience it firsthand.

Psalm 103:2-3 affirms that God forgives all our sins and heals all our diseases. This verse underscores the timeless nature of God's healing power, emphasizing that it is available not only in the present but also in the future and for all eternity.

In the eternal realm of heaven, however, healing will no longer be necessary because there will be no sickness, pain, or suffering, and we will be in the presence of the Healer Himself. Revelation 22:2 paints a vivid picture of this reality, describing the river of the water of life flowing from the throne of God and the tree of life bearing twelve crops of fruit, yielding its fruit every month: "The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations."

In light of the temporal nature of our earthly existence and the eternal promise of our heavenly inheritance, we are exhorted to seize hold of the blessings available to us now. Through faith in the name of Jesus, we can boldly approach the throne of grace and receive the healing, restoration, and abundant life that belong to us as heirs of God's kingdom. Let us arise today, empowered by faith, and lay hold of the promises of God, confident that what belongs to us in Christ is ours for the taking.
