Another Place: Space People

When sacred dreams tell the 777 People of Big Lake they must unite with the machines known as mom, board the object, put their fears and doubts behind them, leave two children behind, and fly to another planet; the only option is to hold on to their faith and obey the dreams, as they try not to question the sacred messages from the spirit world.

This book is set centuries into the future, long after humans have destroyed the planet Earth. The few descendents who have survived find themselves fleeing the safety of their home planet. Life on a very overcrowded space ship hurling them out of the solar system turns out to be the least of their worries.

What awaits them on this new planet? Have they traveled so far to become slaves to machines? Will they be forced to live a grueling life or will they find a way to overcome strange and powerful obstacles.
