Growing up in a country where we are not allowed to express how we feel or what we think, I struggled to verbalise myself. I began to start writing and journalling my thoughts, my feelings and created stories and poems to this day. There are no walls or boundaries when I express myself through writing.
This collection of my writings is very personal to me. It sums up what I have been through in various relationships. Family, friends, and partners. Being a single mum, moving to a country with just me and my son. Going through a coercive relationship. Being in very dark places, being alone, being rejected, rising up on my own and the many struggles I have been through.
Writing makes the world colourful. It gave me hope. It brought me bliss.
I hope this will inspire people to bravely come out of their shells and know that they are not alone.
