Memories of The Kentuck Club

I'm Jimmy Givens and I have so many wonderful memories of growing up in show business, and my parents spending our summers in the Catskills! My parents, Givens & Sweetie, were "world-class" entertainers who performed in the Catskills, Lakewood, NJ, Miami Beach and all parts in between! Perhaps the BEST way to describe my experiences in the Catskills and especially at The Kentucky club would be to say that: "The KENTUCKY CLUB was/is the single-most influential time and place in my life!"

Now, what do I mean by that statement? Living in the summer in the Catskills afforded me the opportunity to experience a most exciting life! Excitement... in what way? The people, the towns... the ambiance!
My Daddy and my "Uncle" Max were always coming up with promotions and they were all successful! What kind of parties? You'll find out! Saturday, July 10, 1965, was the "birth" of this comedian! How?
