Raising Christian Children

The Bible teaches that raising good Christian children starts at home. Raising good Christian children starts with a healthy parent-child relationship, and it involves a lot of day-to-day activities that you may not think of as Christian teaching moments. That is how you cultivate a good Christian family, by having strong relationships that are based on biblical principles.

You should talk to your children about God and your relationship with God.

Take advantage of teaching opportunities that happen in the normal course of living. When you sit at home, when you walk along the road, when you lie down, and when you get up-talk to your children about the Lord and the truths that He has revealed. Make certain that your own mind is full of the word of God. Make certain whatever you do directed by the word of God.

Make certain that whatever happens inside your house happens because your decisions are guided by the word of God. You are training the next generation of disciples and worshipers of the Lord Jesus Christ. What could possibly be more important than that?
