Heirs of Ruin

Legends tell of a Great Schism. A war fought eons ago between the Al?shen and the Alkarii. Resulting in the banishment of the Matriarch Ter'a and all her followers. It was a defeat she never forgot.

As the age of light waned, the Alkarii invaded. Decimating every Al?shen outpost they found. The Queen of Al?sia used the last of her magic to hide what remained of her people. In hidden pockets throughout Velendia, the Al?shen survived.

With her dying breath, the queen spoke of one to be born that would unite the bloodlines and put an end to the Alkarii threat.

From the Dark Tower of Teimhnean, the Alkarii spread their iron rule across Velendia. Throwing down anyone that would dare oppose them. Always on the lookout for the one that would cause their downfall.

It was a responsibility Kiona resented.

A life of exile was all she had ever known. Raised to rule, yet held back and kept hidden by those in power.

Now she is forced out of hiding to save her people and strike back against the Alkarii.

It was an impossible task.

Because by all the laws of Al?sia -

She shouldn't exist.
