A River Between: the beginning

I wrote a book-Juli-some years back, and in it I describe a scene where God is sitting on a rock on the other side of a beautiful river watching us do all the silly, foolish things we do, all while paying Him no mind. But His hope never waivers, and each time we pass by, He looks upon us with joy, hoping this time we'll stop and visit with Him-maybe even walk across the river and sit beside Him as He tells us how much He loves us. But we seldom even slow down. This story, A River Between, is about when Charlie crossed the river and gave His life to God. It took place before "Juli" and it, too, is a mostly fictional tale, but the coming to God part is true. I hope you enjoy it.
The author, Charles Mashburn, lives in the Texas hill country with his wife, Sherry. There's no river on the property, but they're surrounded by cedars, mesquites, live oaks, and most importantly, God's love and peace. Charles continues to write, mostly about how much God loves us.
