During his lifetime Charlie Zinger managed to amass one of the world's greatest fortunes and gained international renown, but now, as he approaches his one-hundredth birthday, death is the only milestone that remains. As he withers in hospice, Charlie is offered a unique dose of a new bio-pharmaceutical drug that will revive his mortal coil to the vigor of youth. This new drug needs to be synthesized specifically for Charlie using his own DNA, and leverages Crispr-Cas9 gene editing technologies, quantum computing, and artificial intelligence.
