The Little Sister

Little Sister is a book for all readers teaching us to understand a bit more about Autism and the beauty in our differences. Lexi loves her big sister Laurie and there is a big storm coming. Storms scare Laurie and trigger some bothersome anxieties. This is a story about how a family comes together to help Laurie with her sensory situation with the lightning and thunder, all while teaching us that we are all special in our own way.

There is often a fear from children or adults when it comes to approaching or befriending folks with disabilities and this book explains some of the tics of our sweet Laurie and how there is nothing to fear. We are all the same but also different, and that is a wonderful thing. How boring life would be if we were all the same.
