Simply Believe the Message of John's Gospel

What does it mean to believe in Jesus? How can we know that we actually "believe"? Are there different kinds of belief? What if I believe, but it's not good enough? Is what I have true belief? Does the bible use the word the same way we do today, or does it mean something else when talking about believing in Jesus? How does a person come to believe in Jesus?

Those are all questions that I once struggled with. It's hard to have any peace or assurance if you're unsure that you are "believing" the right way. Thankfully God gave us the Gospel of John. He even tells us that he wrote it so that we could believe.

John used the word "believe" one hundred and one times in his gospel. That's one hundred and one examples of what he meant by believing. In this book we will examine every time he used the word and the context that surrounds it. A close examination of the context will interpret "belief" according to John. By the end of the book you can know exactly what it means to simply believe in Jesus.
