Unexpectedly Gabriel follows the journey of Gabriel, a young man raised in isolation by his parents in the secluded Korean mountains. After their sudden passing, Gabriel ventures down to a society he barely understands, armed with only the survival skills he learned in nature. Before their death, Gabriel's parents had enrolled him in a local high school, and after struggling to find it, he begins his new life as the "odd" student, navigating unfamiliar social norms.
