Common Denominator

God gave us this gift of life...It is meant to be
The sunshine...The laughter
The day...The wave
A dream for ourselves to make into a new reality
Yet confusion lurks all around
It is just the same as it ever was
We shall not ever again let our planet be run by thugs
These gifts of The Land, The Sea & The Air
They are not to be taken away
The tides keep turning...They wash upon the shore
It is time for mankind to be free once more
Free from the coldness of cruelty
... Free from the hell that is war
After all we were born to be alive
From the dust to the dust...Human Nature
It is supposed to click
Too bad that so many of us are as thick as a brick
Melt back into the night oh spirit of evil
The gift of God's love is here
And we are going to share it
Like it or not ... It is all that we've got
