This book is based on true events. It is the story of my life, with fictitious names for a better narrative.
My mother and I got to a point in our lives where we were so distant that for many years I avoided her.
I wouldn't say it was entirely her fault because she thought she was doing the right thing for me. I wish I could take back those years I lost with my parents.
Now I've written this book for those out there who may still have time to act and are experiencing the same thing as I did.
