The town of Estral has just about had all it can stand. A string of missing tourists, a tragedy turned paranormal fueled by media, and a dark past that lurks in the shadows; it's all brimming at the surface ready to spill over. And the house on the hill has a reputation all on its own. It's been the epicenter of death and misfortune since its founding in Estral, right up to its destruction when a fire tore through the house killing the four boys inside. Will the sleepy town ever return to normal or will it forever be deemed a paranormal hotspot full of ghost tours and occult shops?

The man on the bus makes his fortune on others misfortune though and there is no greater misfortune than the house on the hill. Night after night he drives the ghost tour up the hill to the house and tells them its story. All good ghost stories are founded in some shred of truth. Why should it have been any different with the house on the hill? The man just stretched the truth and pulled it apart little by little until the story he told teetered on the edge of reality and supernatural. This was the trait of a good storyteller after all. But what if something blurred the line between these two entities? What if there was some sinister force at work in the house on the hill, something not entirely of this world?

In a strange series of events the man on the bus finds himself paired up with the quirky book shop owner Fran. She specializes in psychic readings and grimoires but is there possibly something more to her? Together can they solve the mysterious events that have occurred around the city of Estral? Who or what is behind the series of murders plaguing the town and what dark secrets are waiting to be spilled?
