Ain't No Saint Nick

Twenty plus years as a Tier 1 operator is ended by one missed IED. In pain, alone, and without a plan, CPO Chris Nichols retires to a sleepy mountain town as far north as he can get without a passport. Nick, to his friends, wanted nothing more than to retire to the great white north and enjoy the peace and serenity that comes with a life well lived.
