Villagers come to the aid of the inadequately clothed and malnourished African crew, little knowing the effect this will have on their community.
Moira's developing friendship with Jim, one of the Nigerian crew, brings prejudices to the fore. None more so than those of her brother Roddy whose true character comes under the spotlight and threatens the stability of the whole family.
