Going to church and attending service made it more difficult and uncomfortable living my life being attracted to the same-sex. I still did not understand my liking for the same sex but felt comfortable living my life as a tomboy. I was just not into the feminine lifestyle. I hated dresses with a passion. I had no choice when my mom would dress me in one when I attended church service on Sunday mornings. As I sat in the pew with my mother and my brother, the first thing I did was kick off my shoes. As for lipstick, lip gloss, carrying purses, wearing shoes with heels and wearing makeup was never a part of my dress code. I simply preferred a pair of jeans, a tee-shirt and a pair of sneakers that matched my outfit. Today, I have no problem wearing a dress and heels. It's all about, "The Change" After A Renewed Mind.
