The Vampire Chronicles: New Allegiances

Josh discovers that the world is a lot of broken pieces put together, held together by a string not known for its strength but for its length. Humans, vampires, werewolves, witches, they all exist and are everywhere. All of these people look like they are humans until you take a closer look.

The adventures with his dad and friends did not end with teleporting with his mind to a place of peace, a place where witches had been hiding out for centuries. It appears witches are the most peace loving of all the groups of humans I have mentioned. Humans and vampires are the worst. They are always spoiling for a fight.
