Declarations Tales which ask us all to come to terms; stories which touch upon the environment and circumstances people find themselves in when they struggle and are forced to or need to change. Stories which ask us to evaluate our lives and respect the lives of others. Often when people feel trapped they can recover, they can overcome. Its their decision, which involves a commitment. They talk about dealing with turmoil while they keep an eye on a better future. Frustration and tension must be handled to be successful. "Dreams of an alternate future" deals with realizations we can't face. How far will someone go to forget? "John Henry" is a part of a science fiction novel(The Journal of Trevor Jones). This story tells a fragment of that story. The novel is yet unpublished and is upcoming. This story details life changing events which in itself could cause mental stress but John Henry keeps pushing forward. The Covid-19 pandemic was a wake up call in America. Too much was happening and No solutions were in sight. Everybody has their story. Monkeypox is one of them. DECLARATIONS is intended for a level from young adult(16yrs) to Adults.
