Vel Bram is a coder turned digital speculator. He finds himself ambushed by a framejob that grants him temporary wealth as well as a new and dangerous criminal reputation. He's earned neither, but now Vel must prove his innocence to the iron-fisted Front of Vanguard (FOV) while keeping his friends out of the crossfire. When the FOV pits Vel against the enigmatic and powerful Enoch Group, Vel must call on his skills and gray market connections simply to survive.

Vel can fund his team with the artificial fortune he's been granted while it lasts, but his control over the players in this game are only as fleeting as they are ill-gained.
