The rise of fallen heroes, is a novel that resumes the real-life experiences of people, who usually fall victim to the manipulation by the wealthy. The story revolves around four main characters-Joanna, Jimmy, Madeline and May. Having been a victim of rape committed by Bill Marshall, and the resultant pregnancy, Joanna gave birth to Jimmy and Madeline. Unfortunately, the twins were abducted at birth by May Jones, for Tina Marshall, who blackmailed her to commit that horrific crime. Tina Marshall subjected Jimmy to bad treatment whilst Madeline won her admiration. Unknown that they were siblings, a relationship that seemed like a princess falling for a servant boy, developed between Jimmy and Madeline. However, that incurred Tina Marshall's displeasure and hatred. Tina Marshall's hatred for Jimmy turned Jimmy into a fugitive. He escaped through the thick forest and fought with wild animals, whilst running for cover. Ultimately, Snowdon, an ultra-modern city opened its doors to receive him, and offered him a stable job, after he had slept under bridges for years. One day, a diary Jimmy had kept from the past would lead her to contact Joanna, a woman he had met in the past. A call to Joanna, and communication with her would make Jimmy identify with the harrowing experiences of Joanna. Hearing about the sore experiences of Joanna pushed Jimmy to sympathize with her, and help her find her abducted children, which included him. The investigation led to May, a victim of circumstances, who confessed to abducting the children and begged for clemency. From May, the investigation trajected, with the help of May, to Tina Marshall, who paid for the abduction of the twins. May revealed that she and Tina Marshall were responsible for the abduction of Joanna's twins, to the full glare of Joanna, Jimmy and Madeline. Dramatic scenes led to May finally disclosing that Joanna is the mother of Jimmy and Madeline. Stark resemblance that knitted Joanna to Jimmy and Madeline confirmed that revelation. Tina Marshall resisted the truth, referring to the reunited family as imposters. The proof of paternity finally decided by the lawcourt in a landmark case that was dubbed Republic Vs Tina Marshall. Attorneys engaged in legal battles to determine the outcome. Tina Marshall, knowing vividly that all the odds were against her, went to several lengths to seal all the loopholes, in order to circumvent losing the case. They were able to match boot for boot the cogent arguments presented by the attorney for the republic, thus creating a stalemate. A suggestion by the attorney for the republic for the determination of paternity by DNA test was objected to by the defendants. This was overruled by the judge, and that culminated in a favorable decision for Joanna, despite several attempts by Tina Marshall to bribe the scrupulous DNA test teams and swap DNA tests results. Ultimately, there was a resounding victory for Joanna and the downtrodden. This was heralded by the day's eclipse of the sun, and celebrated by truth lovers. Tina Marshall and May were sentenced on several counts, which cumulatively amounted to imprisonment to the tune thirty and three years respectively. They were subjected to humiliation as the city of Meon jeered and hooted at them, and the public penitentiary awaited them. One of the secondary characters was Bill Marshall, the ex-husband of Tina Marshall. His action or inaction led to the development of the story. He was a rapist whose malfeasance had led to Joanna falling pregnant and giving birth to Jimmy and Madeline. Another character was Bruce Willie. He represented unscrupulous professionals who put premium on the collection of bribe. His dastardly actions and inactions contributed to the fate of Joanna. Through his collusion and connivance, professional ethics have been thrown to the dogs. He unfortunately died without trial.
