This book is an anthology of my poetic reflections. These poems express my observations, feelings, moods, and experiences from time to time during my teaching tenure. Different rhymes, tones, rhythm express the moods and times. I hope the reader enjoys these memories through poetic reflections.
I come from an Indian town situated along the banks of the made-made Ganges Canal (1884). Life's journey landed me at a public-school boarding house also situated along the Ganges. In other words, I have spent a greater part of my life with the Ganges as a background. Hence the title.
As a teacher of English, in a public-school boarding, my accommodation overlooked the Ganges. My morning tea was sipped sitting on the balcony with a panoramic view of the Ganges. A very energizing start to a working day.
