Starting A family: Finances

Starting A family: Finances
I want to thank you for purchasing a copy of this book. You are sowing into a ministry that exists to support families. This is one of several books designed to be conversational. Over the years, I have had the privilege of supporting many families with different aspects of family life. Finance is usually one that tops the list. I draw on my experiences as an economist and ex banker to provide some of the advice I give. I am also a practitioner in public health. As such, I believe strongly in implementing interventions as early as possible to stop things escalating into problems. Early interventions also provide the opportunity to learn positive approaches to problem solving.
This book was developed to support newly wedded couples or those thinking about starting a family. It will also be suitable for established families to help them assess their financial health and approaches. It is intended to get people thinking about gently starting to approach discussions about their family finances. There are several ideas that everyone will find useful. Good habits start off with the desire to improve the status quo. I am not a financial expert, but I have been told that I have some helpful ideas. I have delivered the contents in this book to couples, singles and students across different age ranges. I hope you will also find it helpful.
