Not everybody is destined to be the top leader. Some of our brightest and most competent are called to work with a leader on his/her team and on his/her terms. Usually, these individuals are the very best at what they do. . . far better than the leader. Many competent people never rise to success or significance because they choose to "go it alone." If they were connected to a leader and part of a team with a larger purpose, they could multiply their success and rise to significance.
