KILLING TRUTH SOFTLY is a book of Biblical truths, one of several books on the subject by the author, a former journalism professor and pastor who also worked in the field of electronic warfare. The author concludes that America has lost its way because clergy and churches have confused what is and isn't sin. He said people have requirements of God, but ignore His requirements of them. "Many people are called to a New Birth and New Life, a new way of thinking and acting," he says, "but most people insist on God conforming to their way of thinking and acting instead of the other way around. Unfortunately for them, salvation doesn't work that way. No matter how good something sounds, it doesn't change God's Word on what is and isn't sin. Adultery is now called a 'committed relationship' and abstinence is now called 'neurotic inhibition, ' but using different words doesn't really change anything."
