Ask A Christian (A Religious Discussion)

"Ask A Christian" is a book that takes a practical approach to answer frequently asked questions about the Bible and Christianity. The goal of this book is to quickly bring the reader up to speed on the terms and logic used in formal debate forums, and then encourage them to use that knowledge in more personal, informal discussions about Christianity.

The purpose of this book is to prepare Christians to give a biblical answer to whatever question they are being asked and then to direct the conversation to the ultimate point of the Bible and Christianity: Jesus. His death, burial, and resurrection, and how anyone who believes in him and follows him can have eternal life. The book lays out various ideas and scenarios of how to do this.

Whether or not anyone believes a serpent really talked, or just how much of the earth was covered in water during the biblical flood is inconsequential. Sure, this book will give biblical answers to these questions and more. But, if we stop there without directing the conversation to Jesus and the gospel message that he tells us to share, it's all for nothing.

It is Jesus who has the power to save. Regardless of whatever question is being asked of Christians, this book will help the reader be mindful to integrate the gospel message of Jesus into whatever the answer to the original question is. And if the reader happens to not be a Christian, they will read the gospel message in this book. A lot.

The hope of this book is that it strengthens the faith of the believer and equips them to answer questions as to what they believe and why they believe it. And to sufficiently answer the questions of those still searching. Then, to give them the ultimate answer to any question worth asking: Jesus.
