Often time we as women become consumed with taking care of everyone else's needs before taking care of our own needs. I was no exception. Everyone was more important to me except me. So I decided to take a journey to discovery the "I" that is now ME. I had to make a decision to focus on caring for the Soul of the Woman and that Woman was ME. Whatever, I fed my soul was the direction that my life would take. I had to learn how to care for my soul, through learning how to care for myself and putting myself first after God of course. I hope that as you read this book it will inspire and motivate your to find the "I" that is you. Please know there is so much more I wanted to share in this book but I chose not to overwhelm you with my life story. However, I did allow for the entry into parts of my life so that you as the reader could learn and understand the importance of becoming the "I". I took the journey of becoming the "I" in my own life, so that I could established the position of being the priority to me. I was done with putting everyone else needs before my own and then living with the resentment of stopping myself from being the best me that I could be. Dr. Denson is a two-time book author with her first book being a children book entitled the Son will Shine Again and her second book being a motivational book called I watched, I listened, I learned, and I just did it. "I just Jumped" One of the Best Decisions I've ever Made. As strong and powerful as she is, Dr. Tamara also makes room in her life to help the youth. She has established a Youth Organization called Talented Youth Making a Choice To Succeed (aka TY-MACTS, Inc.), in which the youth are given opportunities to pursue their dreams and goal while incorporating biblical principles. In her personal life Dr. Denson is a Veteran Service Representative because she believes that it is important to give back to the men and women who sacrificed their life to fight for our freedom. Being a mother of two sons and four grandchildren and being married to Corey T. Denson Sr. for 28 years who is a Retired U.S. Army Veteran extends Dr. Denson's love for assisting in helping Veterans get the benefits they need to live a healthy and prosperous life. Dr. Tamara graduated from Tarleton State University with a Master's degree in Education Counseling and Psychology. She continued her education and in doing so she achieved her PhD in Higher Education Leadership from North Central University in Arizona. As a Pastor and Woman of great faith in God Dr. Tamara C. Denson is strategic and consistent in being the change that she wants to see in the world.
