Marilyn was born and raised in the beautiful Midwestern United States. She cherished her family and enjoyed a beautiful childhood and a happy life. Regrettably, early on, Marilyn suffered the loss of her young father and struggled to help her mother recover from the stinging loss of her soulmate. A few months later, she found herself in an abusive relationship that ended in divorce. And then there was the ecstasy and agony of a roller coaster romance that ended in tragedy. Among other difficult losses, Marilyn managed to learn how to cope with what life dealt her. Facing grief many times, she soon realized a pattern to her struggles, but most importantly, she learned how to survive and keep hope alive in her heart.

Survive Grief is a documentation of Marilyn's journey through difficult times of loss, providing enlightenment, comfort, and hope to those mourning a tragedy in their lives.
