Through the sudden loss of my father I found myself thrown into the role of Atlas, designated to hold up the world that he once held. In the beginning I did, and it broke me. Who death made me is a collection of poems and prose that follows the healing journey of pain, the mother wound, the stripping of oneself and navigating through the forest of rediscovery, to coming home to oneself and setting firm boundaries.
