They also established a worldwide campaign to combat bullying, working with students, parents, and teachers to create Bully Busting Brigades. They also founded a scholarship program for 10 students who excel in debate tournaments about topics related to bullying, poverty, abuse, and violence in schools and homes. A movie was made about their lives, which received many awards including an Oscar, and both Timmy and Tammy were recognized with Nobel Peace Awards for their humanitarian efforts.
