The Not-so-Secret Vampire

I'd been on the run for months. Sticking around my hometown wasn't in the cards for me after I witnessed the murder of my best friend. I figured I'd just keep driving, hopping from state-to-state and town-to-town until the cops found her murderer, or he forgot I'd seen anything. Eventually, my running brought me to a tiny hidden town in Tennessee, and I knew my plans had to change - I'd found my place.

Then I got to know the town's reclusive bachelor, Sebastian Bradford, and the not-so-secret secrets surrounding him and my new friends left me with a difficult choice: stay and embrace the preternatural, or leave. However, the evil that had been dogging my steps since the night I'd witnessed Alyssa's murder wasn't through with me, and it was a whole lot closer to my new home than any of us realized.

My choice was no longer about staying or going; in the end, it was about staying alive.
