Some people are born to touch the hearts of others. Stephen Grand was one of those people. Many of his poems were written to tell someone in his circle of love that he was thinking of them on a special occasion or in a time of need. Many others were written in a quest to better understand what makes this world beautiful, and this life worth living. To a great extent, his life and career were dedicated to helping others find their way to being the best they can possibly be. It's to all those seekers I dedicate this humble volume of poetry. Dr. Kenice Grand

DR. STEPHEN GRAND was born Lenny Stephen Grand in Cranford, New Jersey on October 27, 1946. Always a thinker, philosopher, and writer, he majored in mathematics at Stevens Institute of Technology and eventually attended National College of Chiropractic and graduated with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 1976. After a brief stint teaching at National College, he moved to California and eventually to Florida, where he practiced chiropractic medicine and ended up at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Port Orange, FL in 2005 until his death in 2019. Throughout his life Stephen was a wordsmith, writer, and poet. He often spoke about leaving a legacy behind by publishing his poetry, but he kept so busy with his life he never quite got around to it. This book is in memory of him and the gift of his writings. The poems offered here were all written between 2006 and 2019.
