More Than a Loaf of Bread: The memoir of Leslie Coleman

When I first set out to write my memoir, I didn't think it would be as much as it turned out to be. You see, I was chanting one morning, and it occurred to me that I wanted to document my life story.
My eldest daughter is a writer therefore, I asked her if she would write this book for me. She said yes, and that was that, or at least that's what I thought.
You see, I don't think I realized how much bigger something like this could or would be. Reliving one's life is more challenging than you can imagine.
Somewhere along this journey, I made the comparison to going to the store for just a loaf of bread. That never happens! We go in for that one thing but will come out with so much more. Well, this idea which seemed so simple in the beginning, also turned out to be so much more.
The expression of someone's life, my life, will always be more. You'll find yourself digging more, learning more, feeling more and hopefully, understanding more. Yes...life truly is more than a loaf of bread.
