Roses Have Thorns: Being the first book in the Flower of Scotland Mysteries

Juniper Blair, a florist in the sleepy New England village of Dawn Cove, Maine, receives a series of anonymous orders for unusual arrangements. Intrigued by the odd floral combinations, she comes to believe that the bouquets are cleverly hidden threats aimed at prominent citizens, including her own father. Her concerns are initially dismissed by the local sheriff's investigator, who also happens to be her high school sweetheart, until she stumbles across the body of a recipient of one of the strange bouquets.

Now she needs to figure out if the bouquets really are threats and who is sending them. Can Juniper solve the mystery before someone else is pushing up daisies?
