There was a time I learned art therapy a little. There, I was once asked to draw what was it like in my childhood. I drew a huge rock on boiling blood-like lava above a bottomless pit. That was what my childhood was like. I felt like I was pressed under a huge rock, trapped. There was not even the smallest hole to run away or hide. Hence, I was always filled with anger, always ready to pour my boiling anger to anyone anywhere. Yet, the real thing that took a hold of me in the bottom of my heart was bottomless despair. Despair that nothing would ever change and I would never be able to escape my horrible fate. There was not even the faintest light in my life.
My art therapy teacher was shocked. She was shocked because first, she never saw anyone who draws this much terrible childhood picture and second, because she could see now I was a totally different person, someone she could never imagine as a person with such a horrible childhood.
It is all thanks to God. He took compassion on me, came down and met me in person while I wasn't even seeking him. Then he has guided me, protected me in every step of my life until I become what I am now. Now I have only one desire in my life as long as I walk on this earth; I just want to tell what he has done and how great his love is to as many people as I can. This book is the ultimate fruit of that wish.
All I want is that this book could be a help all those who need it. May you be able to feel God's love towards you more clearly through my story.
