The drama, originally written in the Sardinian language, has its roots in the megalithic culture of the Mediterranean Sea, halfway between the history and the myths of the island of Sardinia.
Over the tribe of Nure reigns Itzocar, who took command twenty years before, when his brother Gonario suddenly died.
In doing so, Itzocar, however, willfully ignored the rules of succession imposed by ancient tradition, which provided for the regency of Gonario's widow, Nakigia, at least until the adulthood of her son Rumisu, still a child at the time of the death of the king. Gonario.
Attempting to legitimize and reinforce Itzocar's usurped power and authority An?, combines a double marriage.
But Nakigia, widow of Gonario, invites the nobles, the priests and the people to wait for the awakening of Bithia priestess (mother of Iolaus), who made the rite incubation, waiting for an intended dream, to refuse the marriage at least until Bithia wakes up.
Rumisu, son of the late King Gonario and Nakigia, aims to remove Uncle Itzocar from command, feeling empowered.
As Nakigia lays out her call to wait, Bithia awakens and describes her dream of doom: a Sun swallowed up by the Moon (Bitia's Song).
Immediately afterwards Rumisu appears on the scene accusing Uncle Itzocar of usurping command (Rumisu's song).
At the end of Rumisu's song, Damasu comes to the defense of his father Itzocar.
The two men fight hand to hand.
The winner will be Rumisu. The loser Damasu abandons the village.
Finally the ghost of King Gonario appears to emphasize good rules with Akinta Kamar's song.
