The first section, "Those Early Perils", sets the tone with "Whirring of the Airplane" and "Those Years", showcasing the author's vulnerability and strength in facing adversity in her youth.

Moving on to "Hardship of The Home and Soul", the second section of the chapbook, readers are taken on a vivid journey through "The Rabbit and The Fever Dream", "Roman Giants and Russian Oligarchs", "Copper Fixiation", "A Jar of Feathers", and "Origami Cranes". Through these powerful poems, the author explores the complexities of the human soul and the challenges that come with finding one's place in the world.

The third section, "Into The Rivers", takes a contemplative turn, with poems such as "Earl Grey Tea" and "Dandelion Neck" exploring the beauty and wonder of healing and heartbreak.

In "Guardian of The Home", the fourth section of the chapbook, readers are invited to explore the author's personal journey through "Vagabond Soul" and "The Winter's Cicadas", delving deep into the heart of the human experience helping vulnerable populations.

Finally, the chapbook concludes with "Sanctuary Nest", a section that captures the joy and safety of life with poems such as "Peanut Butter: The Talented Cat", "Lover's Scooter Ride", "Gizzard: The Wizard", and "Last Minute Dinner Plans".
