Games for All: Family Game Rules Volume 1 - Pack Your Bags

What, a book of games that professes to require NO board, NO specialized pieces and components, and to be suitable for everyone? Yes, that is the intent. These rules are but a small sample of the game designs I have come up with over the years, numbering in their hundreds I am sure, many of which did involve creation of a custom board or game elements made from whatever I could find (cardboard boxes, wood scraps, business cards, and many other assorted flotsam). I have specifically selected this collection using three simple criteria:

1. Very few rules which can rapidly be absorbed so that the game can be started right away
2. A simple mechanic that can readily be understood by the whole family
3. The minimum of game play components

Volume 1: Pack Your Bags is a selected set of game rules specifically chosen for travelers to carry with them on their journey. Play in airports, on trains, in hotel rooms, anywhere you can find a small space to lay out a few cards and roll some dice. You will need:

1. 1 deck of cards
2. 3 6-sided dice (d6)
3. one unique token for each player (coins would do)
4. some scrap paper and a pen to keep score
