The battle with the Echo Dimension rages on, and the crew of Eastwood Station struggles to hold things together in the middle of a war zone.

Captain Kahkay is trapped on the planet of Surreptittia with his loathsome science officer, M-, a local who never fit in with his species. They must protect Her Most High, the planet's leader, from enemy forces, including one with a very familiar face.

Meanwhile, Commander Tokaladie serves the evil O.S.S. Admiral Jamieson on Eastwood, forced to do his bidding to try to keep her crew alive. While in the bowels of the station, her lover and Jamieson's son, Jay, plots with Captain Bobbi Luna and Lieutenant Michael Anders to take the station back.

Outside the sector, Commander Colm Foley and Lieutenant Neu stew on the A.S.S. Thrifty 2 Fast 2 Furious, wishing they could go back and help their friends. But their orders are to stay away.

That's just how the season begins! The sci-fi romp continues with a dark season, fraught with peril and death. But in the midst of darkness, there is hope and love. If they can only survive long enough to get to it. Either way, Universe Journey will never be the same!
