Letters of Lost Love is made to dissect pain caused by love into digestible portions. Each letter tells it's own story and is loaded with hidden messages. Maryanne Grace - the author - tried to involve as much grief, as possible. Letters of Lost Love is so significant because it's written from the perspective of a 15-year-old teenage girl. Her view of love is often assumed to be misconstrued by her age and "fantasies" but is in fact quite the opposite. The Author uses her own interpretations and experiences with love, grief, and hate and places them into letters. These letters do not consist of her own personal experience but they are influenced by her views and assumptions.
