After the deaths of several close friends and her mother, the author faced overwhelming grief. She wrote Love You to Heaven and Back to better understand grief by seeking the answers to her many questions: "Will I ever feel like myself again? Who will I become? How will I heal? Will I ever be done with grief?" These were some of the common questions we share.
