After the wildfires are finally extinguished with the first snowfall, Sequoia begins to heal, especially with the holidays around the corner. Life returns to normal in the Sierra mountain town, with caroling in the streets, sipping hot cocoa by the fire, and preparing for the lighting of the community Christmas tree on Main Street.

However, for Zion and Tate, life is never quite normal. Gabi is still making organ-shaped vases, Logan has changed his major again, and Joe has decided to redo the electrical wiring in the house to provide enough power to run both the kiln and the heat lamps for Gabi's new pet snake, Saffron.

As if this wasn't enough, Rebekah enlists Zion to help her plan her wedding, but will the wedding be derailed by a suspicious attack? And worse still, is Rebekah's fianc?, David Bennett, the main suspect?
