He said to me one day, "This book is about Me not you. That makes Him the primary author. Initially, I balked at being a prophet being unsure of myself and now knowing what all this entailed. "But I am too old to learn all I need to know," I said. The next day while watching a local minister on television, the preacher walked around his podium, placed his hand on the podium, looked into the camera and said, "You are never too old. "That statement gave me pause.
Here's an example of how things moved along. Being in the northern part of a Midwest state, one day I was told to pack the car for a long trip south. That took me to a friend's house one state away to the south. After two weeks there, I received an unexpected phone call from a friend in the southern part of the state. She was having surgery and asked if I could stay with her during her recovery. So, I went.
It was there I received an email from another friend who I had not heard from in a few years. He explained he had a serious health problem. Could I come for a visit to help him out. I went and stayed for a year. From there I drove to the West Coast. I could not have predicted any of this.
He liked to sit in the front passenger seat of the car when we traveled. We traveled a lot. No, I did not see Him. Just felt His presence and heard His comments. It is an adventure, this traveling with Him. He knows some great back roads.
It developed into a time of training, obedience, and developing trust in Him. The training continues still.
The description of the flowers in the first section of A POINT IN TIME actually happened. He continues to amaze me still.
His message to all people, "Prepare. Prepare you heart for Me."
